Bote - Porcelana - Tetera de agua verde

An elegant Chinese miniature bottle vase dating to the Qing Dynasty, featuring a compressed globular body rising to a short cylindrical neck. The vase is covered in a rich emerald-green flambé glaze with naturally occurring dark mottled effects, created during the high-temperature firing process. The glossy glaze displays subtle crackling beneath the surface, producing a beautiful depth of colour and an attractive, organic appearance unique to traditional Chinese monochrome ceramics. The simple yet refined form reflects the understated elegance admired in Qing Dynasty monochrome wares. Pieces of this type were appreciated as scholar’s objects and decorative flower vessels, where the beauty of the glaze itself was the principal artistic feature. The recessed base is glazed in white with natural crazing and surrounded by an unglazed foot ring, revealing the ceramic body and traditional manufacturing techniques. Condition: Overall in good antique condition. The recessed base has an original kiln crack, formed during the firing process, together with typical firing imperfections and light age-related wear. This is a manufacturing characteristic rather than damage acquired through use. Please study the photographs carefully, as they form part of the description. Dimensions: * Height: 7 cm * Width: 8 cm * Weight: 216 g
