Offered here is an exceptional lot of two bottles of Rivesaltes 1986, a mature and highly expressive Vin Doux Naturel from the historic Rivesaltes appellation in Southern France.
Produced from grapes grown under the Mediterranean sun of the Roussillon region, Rivesaltes is renowned for its remarkable ageing potential.
After four decades of maturation, this 1986 vintage has developed the complexity and elegance sought after by collectors and lovers of aged fortified wines.
The wine reveals a deep amber colour with mahogany reflections and a rich aromatic profile of dried fruits, figs, dates, roasted nuts, caramel, honey, coffee and sweet spices. The palate is smooth, concentrated and beautifully balanced, leading to a long and refined finish.
Perfect as a meditation wine, with foie gras, blue cheeses, dried fruits, crème brûlée, tarte tatin or dark chocolate desserts.

Con enólogos cualificados, seleccionamos y criamos los mejores Vinos Dulces Naturales, que envejecen en una bodega climatizada dedicada a ellos.
Más de 1450 barricas se erigen como una catedral vinícola, para una capacidad de almacenamiento de 4300 hectolitros de vino en envejecimiento, entre las cuales se encuentran viejas añadas ya raras.
