HISTORIA:
Botella producida en 1996 para celebrar el 35º aniversario de la célebre revista satírica inglesa PRIVATE EYE. Contiene whisky destilado en 1961 (año de fundación de la revista), de Cask n.1580, seleccionado por el whisky maker F.A. Newlands en la destilería The Macallan. Tiraje limitado a 5000 botellas numeradas en todo el mundo.
ETIQUETA:
Obra maestra del artista gonzo RALPH STEADMAN (histórico ilustrador de Private Eye y amigo de Hunter S. Thompson). Serigrafía a color que retrata a un escocés con falda que bebe. Escritura irónica: "Could be 196 years old at last".

HISTORY:
Bottled in 1996 to celebrate the 35th Anniversary of the famous British satirical magazine PRIVATE EYE. This whisky was selected by whisky maker F.A. Newlands at The Macallan Distillery and includes Cask No.1580 bonded in 1961 (the year the magazine was founded). Limited to 5000 individually numbered bottles worldwide.
LABEL:
Iconic screen-printed label designed by legendary gonzo illustrator RALPH STEADMAN (long-time Private Eye contributor and Hunter S. Thompson collaborator). Features a kilted Scotsman clutching a bottle. Wording: "Could be 196 years old at last".
