The Leica M6, introduced in 1984, combines Leica’s classic mechanical rangefinder construction with a built-in light meter. It has become one of the most highly regarded analogue Leica cameras among photographers and collectors. This is an early black Leica M6 from 1985, serial number 1674643. The camera is in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition and functions perfectly. The shutter, film advance, rangefinder and built-in light meter operate as intended. The original Leica box is included. The lid of the box has a small crack, clearly shown in the photographs. This is purely cosmetic and does not affect the opening or closing of the box.
