Pahlavi Dynasty - Cuenco - Moneda de 5000 dinares

Elegant Middle east silver bowl from the Pahlavi period, crafted in 875 silver (84 zolotnik standard) and incorporating an original 5000 dinar silver coin dated 1310 SH (1931/32). The centre of the bowl features the portrait of Reza Shah Pahlavi, while the reverse displays the crowned Lion and Sun emblem, one of the most iconic symbols of pre-revolutionary. The exterior is richly decorated with finely hand-chased and engraved floral and geometric motifs, reflecting the high level of silversmithing during the first half of the 20th century. A decorative and collectible object combining numismatic interest with traditional silver craftsmanship. Pieces from the Pahlavi era bearing royal imagery and the Lion & Sun emblem are increasingly appreciated by collectors of Islamic art and historical silver. Condition: Very good antique condition with minor signs of age and use. Please study the photographs carefully, as they form an integral part of the description.
