The Macallan Edition No.6
Es la sexta - y última - edición de la serie The Macallan Edition. El maestro mezclador de whisky de Macallan, Steven Bremner, se inspiró en el paisaje escénico de la destilería, especialmente en el río Spey, para crear esta expresión. Se eligieron toneles de roble americano y europeo para la Edition No.6, y han aportado una notable riqueza de tofeos gruesos, jengibre picante y notas de frutas frescas.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Dátiles caramelizados, latte cubierto con una pizca de canela y nuez moscada, un toque de cedro.
Palate
Más toffee y fruta seca, ahora con naranja fresca y pera en apoyo. Un toque de galleta de avena y chocolate también presente.
Finish
El chocolate se intensifica en el final, junto con cítricos, albaricoque y pimentón (allspice).
