Este single malt de Islay no está filtrado en frío y se embotella a la fuerza natural del barril. Esto le confiere una profundidad de sabor y una textura que normalmente se asocian al degustar un whisky en su origen.
Recomendamos añadir una pequeña cantidad de agua a un whisky para apreciar plenamente las características de sabor de Original Cask Strength Laphroaig. El whisky a cask strength puede dominar el paladar, pero añadir agua liberará un aroma rico a humo de turba con algo de dulzura y fuertes notas de mar."
