Descripción del vendedor
Zansho 残照(ざんしょう)|Kimura Shigeru 木村茂(きむらしげる)
The artist repeatedly pursues the motif of "trees," constructing a restrained screen space through minute lines and subtle overlapping shades.
The screen is composed almost entirely in monotone, expressing depth and atmosphere through carefully layered copperplate lines.
This work was produced in 1983 using the etching technique on paper.
Artist Profile:
After graduating from university in 1953, he started copperplate printmaking in 1957.
