The inscriptions are in Dutch, with the denomination “TIEN GULDEN” prominently displayed on the obverse. The obverse features a central portrait of a woman in traditional costume, surrounded by an elaborate ornamental design and four denomination numerals “10” in the corners. The reverse is printed predominantly in brown-violet tones, with a large geometric central motif, ornamental panels and repeated serial number HN 68660. Visible inscriptions include “DE NEDERLANDSCHE BANK,” “BETAALT AAN TOONDER,” “TIEN GULDEN,” “DE PRESIDENT” and “DE SECRETARIS.” The reverse retains the full issue date and the printed legal notice concerning the counterfeiting of banknotes. Circulated condition, with several pronounced vertical and horizontal folds, including a central fold, general handling wear and light staining/discoloration. The edges and corners show circulation wear, and a small tear/notch is visible along the upper edge.
