A powerful contemporary portrait executed in an expressive, neo-expressionist language. The central figure is rendered in intense cobalt blue, surrounded by energetic black brushwork and vivid fields of red, yellow and blue. The rough, gestural handling of paint gives the work a strong physical presence, while the crown motif introduces an additional symbolic element.

The contrast between the saturated primary colours and the dark, heavily worked areas creates a striking visual tension. Dra. Olga Winiarczyk es una artista interdisciplinaria e investigadora con un Doctorado en Artes de la Academia de Bellas Artes de Varsovia. Sus obras se han mostrado en más de 40 exposiciones en Polonia y en el extranjero, incluyendo el Museo de Arte Moderno de Varsovia, el Centro de Escultura Polaca en Orońsko, la Galería Labirynt en Lublin, Kyiv Art Week, Venecia, Budapest, Nueva York y las Islas Canarias.
Es receptora de varios premios y distinciones, incluyendo una beca del Ministerio de Cultura y Patrimonio Nacional de Polonia. Su práctica actual explora el arte interespecies, primates, ritual, política corporal y perspectivas no humanas.
