The Sony STR-DE215 is a versatile stereo receiver from Sony’s late-1990s Hi-Fi range, introduced around 1997. Combining a 2-channel amplifier with an FM/AM tuner, it offers a practical all-in-one solution for a traditional stereo system. The STR-DE215 features a dedicated MM phono input, allowing a turntable to be connected directly, as well as inputs for CD, Tape/MD, TV/LD and Video sources. The line-level section offers a wide 10 Hz–50 kHz frequency response, while Sony’s Bass Boost function provides an additional +10 dB at 70 Hz when extra low-frequency impact is desired
To deliver this product properly, it is carefully packed in very strong boxes, thereby wrapped in bubble wrap with lots of padding.
