Artist Information
Koji Kasatani (nacido en 1964) es un artista japonés.
Después de graduarse de la escuela de arte en Florencia, Italia, estudió técnicas cerámicas italianas.
Al regresar a Japón, comenzó a desafiarse a sí mismo para crear obras que trascendieran los límites de la cerámica.
Cuando encontró restos de plátano, el favorito de su padre, en la cocina, quedó convencido de que eso era arte, y desde entonces ha estado creando obras con temática de bananas durante unos 18 años.
