Description
Vibrant and expressive original abstract artwork by French artist Michel Suret-Canale. Created as an homage to the iconic abstract master Nicolas de Staël ("Hommage à Nicolas de Staël" inscribed on the stretcher).
The painting features bold, impasto color blocks in vivid hues of blue, red, yellow, orange, and deep black. At the center, a blue block displays the hand-written title word "Тишина" (Silence), juxtaposed with a delicate silhouette of a figure holding a bicycle, standing amid the heavy geometrical forms.
A powerful composition blending figurative narrative with structural abstract expressionism. Ready to hang, complete with provenance details on the back.
