Olga Gamy - "Hush"

"Hush" is an invitation into a place of stillness—a landscape suspended between memory and imagination. Soft layers of mint green, lavender, rose, ochre, and deep forest tones merge into a quiet composition where slender trees emerge like whispered silhouettes against shifting light.

Painted in an expressive semi-abstract style, the work focuses less on describing a specific location and more on capturing a fleeting emotional atmosphere. The simplified forms and harmonious palette create a sense of calm, while subtle contrasts between light and shadow suggest the hidden rhythms of nature.

The title, Hush, reflects the painting’s contemplative character: a moment when the world seems to pause, allowing space for reflection, presence, and quiet observation. Viewers are invited to wander through the landscape and discover their own memories, feelings, and associations within its layered forms.
