Descripción del vendedor

Bronze ring with rectangular front and parallel grooves – 13th–15th century AD
A broad bronze band ring with a low rectangular front and shoulders defined by parallel transverse grooves. The design alternates plain surfaces and recessed lines, without visible figurative decoration. Greyish-brown patina exhibits small pits and wear, particularly on the front's edges and around the hoop. The construction maintains a continuous, compact silhouette. The main ornamental effect comes from the shoulder grooves, which divide the broad band into a sequence of plain and recessed areas. The frontal panel is comparatively quiet and follows the overall compact line of the ring. Its low projection is visible in profile, while the inside of the hoop remains undecorated in appearance. Worn corners and small surface pits interrupt the angular outline. The piece is described through these surviving structural details rather than supplied with a hypothetical original inscription.
Material: Bronze
Dimensions: 2.3 x 2.1 cm
Weight: 6.85 gr
Provenance: Aduired in Germany from an auction House, previously from a personal collection.
We guarantee the authenticity of the pieces, backed by the combined experience of our experts spanning more than 40 years.
A Certificate of Authenticity (CoA) will be sent digitally by email.
This item has been legally acquired in accordance with European law.
