Macallan 1824 Collection One of the Macallan editions without an age statement that debuted in 2009 in the Travel Retail chain, has a direct reference to the Macallan whisky created in 1824. And it is composed of distillates created in sherry and bourbon barrels. And some of the whisky is distilled from barley grown directly on the Macallan farm. Whisky Maker's Edition is bottled without cold filtration at 75 proof - a unit of alcohol content used in Great Britain, converted to 42.8%.

In the aroma spicy, herbal fruity notes. In the taste nut tobacco, sweet and spicy notes of orange, pepper and nutmeg. Long spicy-nutty finish with a slightly smoky accent.
