"Kill 'Em with Kindness (After Artemisia)" is a radical, abstract reworking of Judith Slaying Holofernes by Artemisia Gentileschi. In this piece, the biblical violence is transformed into a modern feminist alliance: Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber take the place of Judith and her maidservant, no longer adversaries as portrayed by the media, but united in an act of symbolic resistance. The title, borrowed from Gomez’s song Kill Em with Kindness, is recontextualized here as a sharp irony—kindness replaced by strength, solidarity, and rage against patriarchal structures. Thick, gestural layers of oil paint create a raw, tactile surface, pushing the figures into abstraction and emotion rather than literal form. This reimagining invites the viewer to reflect on power, perception, and the redefinition of female identity in both art history and contemporary culture.
Important Note: The painting will be shipped rolled in a tube without wooden frame.

„Hannah Bielecki paints, draws, cuts, irritates… she presents color fields just to cover them up in transparency within the next second. She creates narration and objects in abstraction to tell a story that can only grow in the beholders eye and perception. The color palette she uses is somewhere between a dark reverie and neon bright drama, which she enlightens with points of light. She uses a lot of color but is never arbitrary. The paintings are appear dynamic, but nothing happens by accident.
