A lot of 2 pieces beautiful lapis lazuli bead talismans from the ancient Western Asiatic culture, second millennium AD or older.
In good condition. It has been cleaned in a tumbler and repolished, so its surface is shiny and smooth, but the nice patina is preserved. Original, ancient, hand cutting, carving and grinding. Traces of use and age on its surface. The holes are ancient,but enlarged in modern time to make the pieces wearable.
Purchased mid 90's in Budapest by Dr. Zelnik from the collection of a former ambassador in Asia,H.E.T.I.
