Philipp Aduatz - Mesa auxiliar - hormigón impreso en 3D - Taburete y mesa métricos

The Metric Stool and Table by Philipp Aduatz, produced in collaboration with Austrian manufacturer incremental3d, demonstrates the fusion of sculptural design with advanced 3D concrete printing technology using recycled material. The piece functions both as a stool and as a side table, combining aesthetics with utility. A key feature is the terrazzo-like surface of the seating area, created by embedding recycled fragments from previous production cycles directly into the print. This approach not only gives each object a unique appearance but also highlights the potential of circular material use in contemporary design. Through precise color dosing during the printing process, soft gradients emerge that underline the sculptural quality of the form. Additive manufacturing enables complex geometries without the need for molds, reduces material waste, and lowers CO₂ emissions. The result is a durable, regionally produced object that embodies sustainability, innovation, and craftsmanship while showcasing the future potential of digital fabrication in furniture design. 35 × 35 × 46.5 cm Recycled 3D-printed concrete Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x2-JGn0ZYMY www.philippaduatz.com www.incremental3d.eu All photos by Paris Tsitsos
