This special, openable, old hobby or sewing box is now for sale.Its special feature is that its parts can be moved around, in nicely grooved compartments. They can also be used separately. I've never seen anything like this before, it's a completely rare unique piece in the shape of a shield with a family crest carved on top. It is in exceptionally good condition for its age, it has been restored, including its original screws, it is 60 cm wide when closed, but can be 130 cm wide when opened. It was purchased in the Netherlands in an antique shop, so it is probably a Dutch handicraft product. A product of the Amsterdam Carpentry School.
