INFO HÄKKI is a multidisciplinary artist and the founder of CIRKL collective, an innovative platform that fosters collaboration across creative disciplines. With a formal background in graphic design, photography, and painting, his work bridges fine art and street culture, informed by a practice that has been actively rooted in the streets since 1998. His works demonstrate a dynamic and expressive convergence of neo-expressionist energy, street art aesthetics, and contemporary figuration. The visual impact is immediately raw, visceral, and emotionally charged, while evoking a lineage that includes the likes of Pablo Picasso, Jean-Michel Basquiat, George Condo, Rose Wylie, Armand Boua, Eddie Martinez, and elements reminiscent of Henri Matisse’s bold use of color and form. The figures are rendered in a way that feels both childlike and confrontational. The exaggerated forms, flattened perspective, and masked faces call to mind coded symbologies and the use of anatomical distortion as a critique of identity, power, and race. The masks in particular may hint at themes of anonymity, surveillance, or resistance, suggesting a subcultural commentary that aligns with HÄKKI known engagement with street-level expression.
