Chiro's Malt Double Distilleries 2021 (Chichibu x Komagatake) The unique blended malt whiskey was created in cooperation with the Chichibu distillery and Mars Komagatake. The 2021 edition offers a harmonious fusion of flavours of these two unique Japanese distilleries. The aroma is dominated by notes of moist raisins, dried figs, strawberry jam, vanilla and toffee, with a delicate sweetness of honey and spices. White pepper, ripe peaches, oranges, pineapple, mangos and green bananas can be felt on the palate. The finish is medium long, with notes of citrus, spices and a slight bitterness, creating a rich and complex taste experience. Mars Whisky Malt Duo Komagatake x Chichibu 2021 This blended malt is the result of a combination of distillates from Mars Komagatake and Chichibu distilleries, blurring the unique character through ageing in Komagatake warehouses. The 2021 version is characterised by the aroma of fresh fruit, such as green apples, nutmeg and white peaches, interspersed with notes of maple syrup and delicate smoke. On the tongue of the whiskey, it shows fruity sweetness, vanilla, caramel and spices, with a long finish full of honey and subtle smokiness.
