Fourteen volumes in full leather bindings with gilt titles and decorations to spines. All edges marbled. Wear to exteriors as shown, 3 boards detached, a few very nearly detached and some cracked joints. General marks and scuffs to leather. Each front pastedown with bookplate of Joshua Smith.
Volumes 1-9 are in two parts, with separate dated title for each, and a total of 26 plates, including frontispiece in volume one. Age toning and the odd mark here and there, otherwise pages are generally clean as shown.
This is a large heavy set, over 25kg.
