Voted World's Best Whisky at the 2019 World Whiskies Awards. This whiskey was recently awarded the title of World's Best Single Malt at the World Whiskies Awards on March 27, 2019. This is the first time an Irish whiskey has received this award! Teeling Whiskey, the independent Irish distillery, presents a new expression from its Vintage Reserve collection. This vintage was distilled in 1991 and aged for 24 years in bourbon and Sauternes casks, offering a unique tasting experience. This maturation process develops the whiskey's particularly fruity flavors, which were preserved during bottling at 46% ABV, without chill filtration. This small batch bottling is limited to 5,000 bottles, hand-bottled in luxury decanters, each with its own certificate of authenticity.
