The set includes 184 white stones and 174 black stones, stored in their respective wooden containers. A complete Go set traditionally contains 181 black stones and 180 white stones, totalling 361 pieces. In the game of Go, unlike chess or shogi where pieces are placed on squares, stones are placed on the intersections of the board grid. Black has one extra stone because the black player moves first. In practice, however, it is rare to use all 361 stones in a single game—most matches typically use around 150 stones. Though this set has slightly fewer black stones than standard, it remains perfectly suitable for play. The set displays natural signs of age, including light surface wear, a warm patina, minor blemishes, minor scratches, a few slightly raised or cracked grid squares, and some looseness at the corners of the storage box. A portion of the box cord is missing. Please refer to the photos for details. Dimensions of Go board : approx. H 11.2 cm W 23 cm D 22.9 cm ・Please make sure to review all the provided information and images before placing your bid. ・We make every effort to accurately represent the product's colors and textures in our photos.
