Strathisla 1958 - Gordon & MacPhail - b. Década de 1970 - 26.4 Fl. Oz. (75cl)

Strathisla 1958 – bottled by Gordon & MacPhail (Elgin, Scotland) in the early 1970s. A rare single malt from the oldest distillery in the Highlands (founded in 1786), representing an era when whisky was still produced with traditional methods that have long disappeared. Whisky distilled in the 1950s belongs to a unique and highly regarded historical period: direct-fired stills, long and slow maturation, and a deeper, richer aromatic profile compared to modern standards. Gordon & MacPhail, one of the most important independent bottlers in Scotland, is widely considered the natural archivist of the country’s distilleries. Their selections from the 1960s and 1970s are now recognised as authentic testimonies of the golden age of Scotch whisky. Bottle condition: – High Shoulder fill level, excellent for a 1970s bottling – Original Italian tax seal (Series A P), intact and fully legible – Original capsule, undamaged – Well-preserved label with the original vintage design – Bright, clear colour – Base embossed with “Bottiglia Scozia”, fully readable – No leakage, no abnormal evaporation This bottle is not only a fine whisky, but a genuine historical artefact of 20th-century Scottish distillation — ideal for collectors, whisky archivists, and connoisseurs seeking an authentic, irreplaceable vintage example.
