Dario Argento - Unknown - Profondo Rosso / Deep Red - Década de 1970

This is an original Yugoslav theatrical poster for Dario Argento’s Deep Red (1975), released locally as “Tajna napuštene kuće.” Among giallo and Italian horror collectors, Yugoslav posters for Argento titles are considered exceptionally rare, and this version is one of the most visually striking regional designs. Artwork & Design The artwork features: a terrified central portrait of David Hemmings stylised gothic architecture in the background, echoing the film’s supernatural atmosphere portraits of Daria Nicolodi and Macha Méril the eerie presence of the killer’s doll — one of the most iconic images from the film The intense red-and-black palette perfectly captures the aesthetic of Argento’s early giallo era. The poster also highlights its award recognition: “Film je nagrađen prvom nagradom na festivalu filmova u Anesiu.” (Awarded first prize at the Annecy Film Festival.)
