At its center sits a finely made compass capsule with a traditional Japanese cardinal layout, protected beneath a clear lens. The blue steel needle remains well defined, indicating careful manufacture and quality materials. The reverse hub bears Japanese kanji stamps, identifying the maker and attesting to authenticity. Accompanying the compass is its original wooden presentation box and a period Miyamoto-Shoko paper booklet, printed in both Japanese and English.
