French mens wirstwatch from LIP - Electronic! Very rare classic watch. Watch very good keeping time. Date of last service unknown. Electromechanical (battery + balance wheel system) movement with 13 jewels in very good condtion. That means this is an early electronic (electromechanical) watch, not a modern quartz. It uses a battery to power a coil that keeps a traditional balance wheel oscillating — a transitional technology between mechanical and quartz watches. Watch has stop second function. Gold plated case with in very good condition. Case was never renovated. The watch has very good condition dial, with gold hands and gold indexes. Date changing well. Size of watch is 35.5 mm without the crown. Lug to lug is 39.5 mm. Original steel caseback in good condition.
