Eric Clapton, yksi maailman vaikutusvaltaisimmista blues/rock-kitaristeista, kokosi jälleen kaikkien aikojen tähtikaartin kuuden sykäyksen kitaran sankareista seitsemänteen Crossroads Guitar Festival -tapahtumaan vuonna 2023. Paikkana oli Crypto.com Arena Los Angelesissa, Kaliforniassa, kahden päivän konserttitapahtuma keräsi varoja Crossroads Centre -säätiölle Antigualle, Claptonin vuonna 1998 perusta- malleen kemiallisen riippuvuuden hoito- ja koulutustilalle. Näyttelijä Bill Murray toimi yleisön seremoniamestarina, ja vuoden 2023 festivaalilla esitettiin upeita esityksiä Claptonin, Joe Bonamassan, Gary Clark Jr.:n, Sheryl Crow’n, Eric Galesin, H.E.R.:n, Christone “Kingfish” Ingramin, Los Lobosin, John Mayerin, The Marcus King Bandin, Roger McGuinnin, John McLaughlinin, Santanan, The Wallflowersin sekä monien muiden toimesta.
