Design: The bust faithfully depicts the famous sculpture of Nefertiti with her characteristic blue crown and rich jewelry (necklace) around her neck. Function: Often called a "perfume lamp" (German: Rauchverzehrer), because some models were used with fragrant oils that would evaporate from the heat of the bulb.
