Roamer Incabloc – Small Seconds – 15 Jewels Swiss Mechanical Movement – Gold Plated – Vintage Men’s Watch - – 1950s–1960s
A characterful vintage Roamer Incabloc mechanical wristwatch, featuring a beautifully aged silver-tone dial, applied gold-tone indexes and a classic small seconds subdial at 6 o’clock.
The dial displays the unmistakable aesthetic of mid-century Swiss watchmaking, combining Arabic numerals at 12, 2, 4, 8 and 10 with applied baton indexes and a finely detailed subsidiary seconds register. The naturally developed patina gives the watch an authentic vintage appearance rather than the uniform look of a restored dial.
Inside is a signed Roamer Swiss Made manual-winding mechanical movement with 15 jewels, visible in the photographs. The movement and dial both carry the Roamer name, an important detail for the collectability and integrity of the piece.

Condition Report
This Roamer Incabloc is presented in Grade B condition, with signs of age and use consistent with a vintage watch of this period.
The gold-plated case displays scratches, small marks and visible areas of wear to the plating.
The silver-tone dial has developed pronounced natural patina, with spotting and age-related marks visible across the surface. Rather than detracting from the piece, this ageing gives the watch a strong and authentic mid-century character.
The hands show oxidation and natural ageing. The small seconds register remains clearly legible and retains its attractive concentric detailing. The stainless steel case back shows scratches and marks from previous use and is stamped “STAINLESS STEEL BACK – SWISS MADE – 3640.”
Please study all photographs carefully, as they form an integral part of the description and show the actual condition of the watch.
Story & Heritage
Roamer is a historic Swiss watch manufacturer whose origins date back to 1888, when Fritz Meyer established his watchmaking business in Solothurn, Switzerland. Over the following decades, the company developed into a fully integrated watch manufacturer and became particularly well known for producing reliable mechanical movements and robust wristwatches.
This example belongs to the classic era of mid-century Swiss watchmaking. The Incabloc marking on the dial refers to the shock-protection system designed to protect the delicate balance staff against impacts — an important technical development in mechanical wristwatches of the period.
Of particular interest is the signed movement. Clearly engraved “15 JEWELS – SWISS MADE – ROAMER,” it reinforces the identity of the watch and adds considerably more horological interest than an unsigned generic movement.
The traditional small-seconds configuration, compact 32 mm proportions, gold-plated case and naturally aged dial create a watch with genuine 1950s character.
A charming vintage Roamer for collectors who appreciate authentic Swiss mechanical watches, visible patina and traditional small-seconds design.
