Klassikkokellojen huutokauppa

Wakmannilta, historiallisesti Breitlingin virallinen Yhdysvaltain kumppani ja jälleenmyyjä, on tämän 1950-luvuilta erottuva ja erittäin keräilyharvinaisuus: Calendrier Triple Date (Complete Calendar) – täydellinen kalenteri. Yhdistämällä klassisen keskir erasajan koteloarkkitehtuurin, aitoa tehtaan alkuperäistä kaksiväristä patinoitua dialia, jolla on haluttu lohen/kuparin sävyinen ulkoinen päivämääräasteikko, keskellä sininen nuolipäivämäärä osoitin, päivän ja kuukauden aukot kello 12:n alapuolella, 6:n kohdalla pieni toinen sekunttikuvio, sekä luotettavasti kullan-hopealehkoinen 17-kivinen sveitsiläinen ETA Caliber 1100 manuaalisäätöinen kalenteri-liikuttaja, jonka sisään on leimattu historiallinen

From Wakmann, celebrated historically as Breitling’s official U.S. partner and distributor, this is the distinguished and highly collectible Calendrier Triple Date (Complete Calendar) from the 1950s. Combining classic mid-century case architecture, an authentic factory-original two-tone patinated dial featuring a sought-after salmon/copper outer date scale, a central blue arrow pointer date hand, day and month apertures below 12 o'clock, a subsidiary seconds subdial at 6 o'clock, and driven by the reliable gold-gilt finished 17-jewel Swiss ETA Caliber 1100 manual-wind movement stamped with the historic "WOG" U.S. import hallmark, this timepiece delivers exceptional horological heritage and sophisticated vintage presence on the wrist.
Case Dimensions & Structure
Case Dimensions: Approximately 34.8 mm including the winding crown (approx. 32.5–33 mm excluding the crown / vertical lug-to-lug stance approx. 40 mm). With well-balanced mid-century proportions, sharp downturned lugs, and a domed acrylic crystal, it offers a refined and comfortable dress fit.
Case & Pushers: Chrome-plated base metal case construction with a solid stainless steel snap-on caseback. Equipped with side-case pushers dedicated to setting the day, month, and date indicators. Due to regular wear over more than 70 years, honest vintage hairline scratches, small dings, plating wear, and handling marks are present across the bezel, flanks, pushers, and lugs.
Crystal: Domed acrylic (plexi) crystal. Surface scratches and light vintage blemishes are present on the crystal consistent with its age and use.
Caseback: Original solid stainless steel snap-on back. The exterior features circular brushing and the "STAINLESS STEEL" stamp. The interior face cleanly displays circular perlage finishing, "WAKMANN WATCH CO - SWISS", and case/reference number 41817.
Dial & Complication Details
Dial Condition: 100% factory-original (unrestored / non-redial) collectible two-tone dial. The inner main disc shows a warm cream tone, perfectly complemented by the attractive salmon/copper-toned outer chapter ring. Printed with "WAKMANN - CALENDRIER - 17 JEWELS - INCABLOC", "ANTIMAGNETIC" above the sub-seconds track, and "- SWISS MADE -" below 6 o'clock. Features raised Arabic numerals and luminous hour/minute hands.
Patina & Ageing: Because the dial remains unrestored, it exhibits honest age-appropriate vintage patina, natural surface spotting, micro-marks, tonal variations, and oxidation/loss to the original luminous material. These natural characteristics authenticate its mid-century identity.
Triple Calendar Functions:
Day (TUE) and Month (JUL) windows located below 12 o'clock (in English),
Central blue-arrow Pointer Date Hand tracking days 1 through 31 on the outer salmon scale,
Running Small Seconds Subdial at 6 o'clock.
Movement & Accessories Details
Movement: Authentic Swiss-made, 17-jewel (Seventeen 17 Jewels), gold-gilt finished ETA Caliber 1100 manual-wind calendar movement equipped with an Incabloc shock protection system. The movement bridge is clearly stamped with "WAKMANN WATCH Co", "SEVENTEEN 17 JEWELS - UNADJUSTED - SWISS", and the official Wakmann/Breitling U.S. import code "WOG".
Operational Status: The ETA Caliber 1100 movement.
Strap & Buckle Disclosure: Fitted with a high-quality light brown/tan crocodile-grain leather strap paired with a steel pin buckle that highlights the warm tones of the salmon chapter ring. Please note that the strap and buckle are non-original (aftermarket).
Please Note: 1950s Swiss triple-calendar pointer date watches powered by the robust ETA Caliber 1100 represent some of the most enduring complications in vintage horology. Honest vintage hairline wear on the case, light scratches on the acrylic crystal, natural dial patina/spotting, and the aftermarket strap . Due to its antique/vintage nature, no water resistance warranty is provided. For cross-border or international shipments, any potential customs duties, taxes, or clearance fees remain entirely the responsibility of the buyer. Please inspect all macro photographs thoroughly prior to purchasing.
