Myyjän antama kuvaus
Substanti- and heavy cast tin pourer/jar with a classic cylindrical model (Walzenkrug), dating from around 1800 (late 18th or early 19th century).
The can has a clean, tall cylindrical body that transitions at the bottom into a broad, profiled stand ring. The flat lid features concentric turned profilings and is crowned by an elegant, turned central knob. Implemented with a sturdy cast bandoor, an upstanding thumb rest and a solid three-part hinge that closes perfectly.
Both on the lid and at the bottom of the base there are authentic, stamped/engraved owner initials, indicating a rich history of use. The base shows on the outside fine concentric turning marks.
