Charming mixed lot of traditional Japanese kokeshi and regional folk art dolls, offered together as one collection (total 32 pieces). Hand-turned from wood and carefully hand-painted, these figures capture the warmth and humour of mid-20th-century Japanese craft. Several dolls are signed or stamped on the base, and some are dated Showa 42 (1967), placing the group broadly in the 1960s–1970s souvenir / folk-art period. Motifs include smiling children, local costume figures, Daruma, owls, mushroom figures and dolls with poetry inscriptions. This is an ideal starter lot for collectors of Japanese folk art or a ready-made decorative ensemble for an interior with a Japanese or wabi-sabi touch.
