With that in mind, the idea behind the Serene Slim Light was to create the thinnest veneer lamp possible. Made from real poplar burl wood veneer on a sturdy metal base, it reflects the designer’s admiration for minimalism and simplicity of form. With a diameter of just 4 cm / 1.57 in, it is the slimmest wooden floor lamp available anywhere in the world. Tall and slim, the lamp emits a warm light that works perfectly in a living room, bedroom, or office. Its slender design makes it highly versatile, fitting easily into any space without overwhelming it. Despite its minimalist profile, it provides a cozy, natural glow that enhances the atmosphere wherever it is placed. Inside the lamp, a transparent polycarbonate shade ensures perfect shape and stability. A supporter of longevity, the designer ensured the lamp is equipped with a replaceable light source. Each lamp is crafted using a proprietary pressure-stabilization method for the veneer, a technique that provides exceptional durability while creating a stunning presence that highlights the natural beauty of the material. The chosen poplar burl veneer is a demanding material to work with due to its natural scars, deformations, and irregularities. These imperfections resonate deeply with the designer, carrying the message that beauty can emerge from brokenness, and life can surprise you when you least expect it. A little about the Serene Slim Light: It’s super slim — only 4 cm / 1.57 inch diameter, so it doesn’t take up much space. The lamp is 170 cm / 66.9 inch tall, with a 13 cm / 5 inch diameter base. The lampshade is handmade from natural veneer, giving a soft and warm glow. The veneer is specially reinforced, so the lamp won’t warp or fade. It uses a replaceable standard G13 bulb, easy to swap out. It has a 3-meter / 118 inch cord. Our lamp can be customized with a leg length of 20 cm (≈7.9 in), 30 cm (≈11.8 in), or 40 cm (≈15.7 in). If no preference is specified, the lamp will be supplied with a 40 cm leg, resulting in a total height of 170 cm (≈66.9 in).
