Jewellery Box, Napoleon III Period, circa 1850–1900, France Elegant French jewellery box from the Napoleon III period, dating to circa 1850–1900. The box is richly decorated with floral and scroll reliefs and stands on four small ball feet, characteristic of the style. It features a bevelled glass lid set in a gilt metal frame and an original silk-lined interior cushion, ideal for storing jewellery or small valuables. The lid opens and closes well and the closure is intact. Condition Good antique condition with light age-related wear, patina and minor oxidation.
