Masque de Justice Ngil – Fang, tribu du Gabon.

Le masque était porté la nuit, lors de procédures pénales durant lesquelles le grand initié, sous le masque, passait d’habitation en habitation, afin de se voir révéler à lui le coupable lors d’affaires, souvent d’affaires homicides.
Une fois l’auteur identifié, le porteur du masque était en compétence de prononcer la peine, la plupart du temps, de mort.
