Elegante paravento antico a tre ante, in legno intagliato e dorato, risalente verosimilmente alla fine del XIX – inizi XX secolo, in stile Luigi XV/Rococò revival. La struttura presenta ricche modanature sagomate e dettagli intagliati con motivi a conchiglia e volute. La parte superiore di ciascun pannello è decorata con dipinti a tema paesaggistico di gusto romantico, protetti da lastra trasparente. I pannelli inferiori sono rivestiti in tessuto plissettato color avorio, originale d’epoca. Il paravento è pieghevole a tre sezioni, collegato da cerniere originali, e può essere utilizzato sia come elemento divisorio sia come importante complemento decorativo. Condizioni: condizioni complessivamente buone con normali segni di usura del tempo. Presenti piccole crepe, mancanze e strofinature alla doratura, leggere macchie e usure del tessuto, come visibile in foto. Dipinti con patina d’epoca. Struttura stabile. The frame features richly shaped mouldings and carved decorative elements with shell and scroll motifs. The upper section of each panel is decorated with romantic landscape paintings, protected by a transparent cover. The lower sections are covered with original pleated ivory-coloured fabric. The screen is foldable into three sections, joined by original hinges, and can be used both as a room divider and as a decorative statement piece. Condition: overall in good condition, with normal signs of age and wear. Minor cracks, losses and rubbing to the gilding, light stains and wear to the fabric, as shown in the photos.
