A refined pair of Italian nightstands crafted in the early 20th century, showcasing elegant mahogany frames and white/grey veined black marble top. Nightstands are with one upper drawer and one lower compartment with hinged door. Handles are in brass. The front legs display a graceful cabriole form, finished with gilt-metal sabots and foliate mounts, while the rear legs are slightly splayed for stability. These nightstands retain their original finish and exhibit the charming wear consistent with age, enhancing their antique appeal. There are some defects on the back legs, and one in the front (seen on the photos). One marble top was cracked and then be restored. (hardly noticed, seen on photos).
