Extra : Chivas Brothers has crafted a wonderful well-sherried blend for its Chivas Regal range! This expression spent its entire maturation exclusively in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks. A wonderful fruity, spicy sipper to enjoy. XV : Unveiled in 2018, Chivas Regal XV is a 15 year old blended Scotch whisky which has been finished in casks that previously held Grande Champagne Cognac! Whisky makers are slowly beginning to use Cognac casks for maturation more and more these days, and we reckon it's a wonderful trend, as it helps to bring vibrant fruit notes and rich oak to the fore. Mizunara : Originally released for the Japanese market, this special edition of Chivas Regal blended Scotch whisky was inspired by a trip that Master Distiller Colin Scott took to Japan. Part of the blend was matured in Mizunara oak casks, which is rather rare in the whisky world but always intriguing.
