Rare large Wayang Kulit Shadow Puppet depicting military figures. Indonesia, circa 1950 Representations of the colonial Dutch occupier within Wayang Kulit tradition are exceptionally uncommon, making this a highly significant and collectible piece. The figure is handcrafted from buffalo or goat hide, finely cut and hand-painted. The military figures share jointly movable arms.
