Publishers’ original Brown cloth boards with bevelled edges; titles and ornate gilt and black decorations on front board and spine; blind-stamped border on rear. Yellow free endpapers pages. All page edge gilt. Book Dimensions: 35 x 26 cm and Number of Pages: 487 Weight over 4.3 kg without packaging Condition This heavy and large book causing the external covers to become cracked but still attached, and leaving spaces between covers and first and last blank free endpaper pages. Covers are also worn at corners, and edges, with some creases and repairs to external joints of front cover as you can see from pictures. Internally the book is in very good condition. No names or inscriptions. Pages are clean, with light foxing to some pages. Inner hinges are very good. Pages are tightly held at the gutter. The text is clean and plates in very nice condition (Please see pictures).
