ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This artwork reinterprets Scrooge McDuck as more than a cartoon icon — he becomes a symbol of obsession, accumulation, and control. Beneath the familiar silhouette lies a sharp commentary on wealth, legacy, and the fine line between success and greed.
The intense red and orange background evokes both desire and danger. It is the color of ambition, excess, and burning intensity — a visual tension that mirrors the character’s relentless pursuit of fortune. The posture, elegant yet rigid, suggests authority built through discipline rather than chance.
This is not a nostalgic tribute alone.
It is a portrait of power.
By stripping the figure down to bold contrasts and precise stencil cuts, the artwork exposes the essence of the character: wealth as identity, money as armor, and legacy as an obsession passed through generations.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
I am a French stencil artist whose work explores contrast — between instinct and precision, chaos and control, heritage and contemporary expression. My practice combines spontaneous, textured backgrounds with meticulously hand-cut multi-layer stencils.
I have exhibited alongside major figures of the urban art scene such as L’Atlas, C215, Carole B, Wawapod, and Jo Di Bona at the SPERA ART FAIR.
My work has been collected throughout Europe, with more than 300 artworks sold internationally.
I also create live painting performances for major institutions and brands, including Disneyland Paris.
Each artwork is a unique original. While stencils may be reused, every background is created instinctively, ensuring that no two works are ever identical. My work focuses on iconic figures, powerful symbols, and contemporary myths, reinterpreted through tension, presence, and materiality.
