This is a fantastic new project and estate founded by Ludovica Antinori and her daughter Sophia (owner of Marchesi Antinori). A very limited number of bottles are produced each year, with a dominant Cabernet Franc in the blend. This wine is a wonderful addition for the serious wine collector. Ratings: Falstaff (98/100) Clear deep dark ruby, subtle purple on the rim. Impressive nose with concentrated notes of cigar box, eucalyptus, then rich notes of black currants, mulberries, slightly earthy tones in the background. Fills the palate richly, stolid, dense tannin, dark berryish fruit and lots of tobacco, earthy notes in the finish.
