Description Exceptional Napoleonic relics with impeccable provenance: a group of original textile fragments consisting of pieces from Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte’s bed at Austerlitz, together with fragments of a French Imperial flag, preserved in an early 20th-century oval wooden frame. This historically important ensemble was acquired at an auction from the renowned french auction house and is accompanied by its original certificate, guaranteeing authenticity and provenance. Historical Context The Battle of Austerlitz (1805) represents the pinnacle of Napoleon’s military genius and one of the most symbolic moments of the First French Empire. Objects directly connected to the Emperor’s personal surroundings during the campaign, as well as to Imperial military emblems such as flags, are extremely rare and highly sought after.
