Peary's firsthand account of his two separate Greenland expeditions, with maps, diagrams, and about 800 illustrations. Five appendices follow text. Beautiful map at the end of volume 2 in overall good condition. Folding panorama in very good condition overall. RARE SET . In good condition,boards bright gilt on blue cloth,spine and boards lightly stained,light wear around edges and corners.. Some shelfwear. In vol 1 light wear upper margin of pages especially beginning/end -probably pages were lightly stuck from ancient water damage.
Overall two volumes in good clean condition, illustrations very good, ex library book with only signs: in vol 1 two stickers-one first pages ,one on rear pastedown. In vol 2 scattered stamps on margins especially-see photos.
Overall good condition set!!!
