Samovar en laiton russe ancien à forme balustre avec pieds moulés, daté 1850–1900, chaudière à charbon d’origine russe, hauteur 33 cm, largeur 17 cm, profondeur 17 cm, poids 1,8 kg, état correct avec tuyau intérieur manquant, bouchon en bois et poignée de robinet manquants, hors service.

Antique Russian Brass Samovar – Coal Heated Tea Urn – circa 1900
Description

Authentic antique brass samovar originating from Russia or Eastern Europe, dating to circa 1900.

Traditional coal-heated construction with internal water reservoir and original tap. The samovar represents a classic late 19th / early 20th century household model in elegant baluster form with cast feet and side handles.

Originally used for heating water for tea preparation, samovars were an essential element of Russian tea culture.

This example displays a warm original patina developed over more than a century and remains a highly decorative historical object.

The samovar is sold as a decorative antique piece.

Condition

Good antique condition with signs of age and use consistent with its age.

Inner fire tube missing

Wooden lid finial missing
