Offered for auction is a beautiful vintage Brother portable typewriter, manufactured by Brother Industries, Ltd. in Nagoya, Japan, during the mid-1970s.
This model belongs to the highly regarded TR-series, known for its solid Japanese engineering and smooth mechanical action.
The machine is in very good vintage condition and fully functional. All keys operate correctly, the carriage moves smoothly, and the ribbon selector (red/black) works as intended. The typebars are clean and strike evenly. No sticking keys.
