Christofle Silver-Plated Pepper Mill and Salt Shaker – France, circa 1950
A refined silver-plated pepper mill and matching salt shaker by the prestigious French maker Christofle, dating from around 1950.
Both pieces are designed in an elegant classical column form with a delicate reeded design.
Each piece is marked on the underside “Christofle France”.
Dimensions:
Height: 13 cm (pepper mill) and 10 cm (salt shaker)
Diameter: 4.5 cm each
Weight: 400 grams (together)
Condition:
In good overall condition, with no dents or scratches. The salt shaker shows visible signs of use around the perforations, consistent with normal use over time.
Provenance:
Acquired from a large Parisian estate.
